Shortages/Damages

Upon receiving your shipment from Muse, please verify that all packages have been delivered. If a box is missing, note the missing package on the delivery receipt. Contact the courier immediately to report any undelivered packages. Additionally, any losses, short shipments, or damages should be reported to Muse within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Payment Methods

For online orders, we accept Mastercard, Visa, and Interac E-transfer as payment methods. Please note that Interac E-transfer is limited to select Canadian accounts. As this option is not integrated into our online checkout, feel free to contact us for assistance if you prefer using Interac E-transfer.

For customers wishing to pick up their online orders at our store, the payment options are Interac E-transfer or direct payment at our in-store cashier upon pick-up.

We are also excited to announce that we are in the process of implementing a 'Buy Now, Pay Later' system and are currently accepting Shop Pay for online orders. All transactions, whether online or in-store, are processed in Canadian funds.

If picking up an order at our store, remember that the payment can only be made through Interac E-transfer or at our cashier on the day of pick-up.

Pending Charges (Pre-Authorization)

When you place an order on our website, the invoice amount is pre-authorized on your credit card. This amount is held by your financial institution, but your card will not be charged until we process your order for shipping.

If you decide to cancel your order, the pre-authorized amount may still show on your online credit card statement for a few business days before the hold is released.

In cases where you change your order, if items are out of stock, or if the final shipping cost is different from the initial quote, the original pre-authorized amount may still appear on your statement temporarily. This will be replaced with the actual final charge once processed. You might see both the pre-authorized and actual charge for a short period until the original pre-authorization is cleared.

 

Order Online

Start by browsing our selection of products. You don't need to log in to see our prices. When you find a product you're interested in, click on it for more details. If you decide to buy, simply select "Add to Cart." Continue this process for any other items you wish to purchase. You can review your selections at any time by selecting "View Cart." If you want to remove any items, you can do so easily from the View Cart page.

 

Order Processing

Typically, it takes 1-2 business days to process your order from the moment you place it online until it's shipped out. Please note that orders involving long-distance shipping or non-stock items may require additional processing time.

 

Shipping

Please note that the shipping time for your order begins once it has been prepared and packaged in our warehouse. The duration of shipping varies depending on your location, typically ranging from 1-10 business days. Most orders are shipped the next day. However, orders placed after noon EST will be processed on the next business day. Additionally, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.

 

Out-of-Stock Items

If an item in your Cart is out of stock, it might be due to several reasons such as it being purchased by customers who ordered just before you, higher than anticipated demand depleting our inventory, or the item no longer being available. In the event an item you've ordered is out of stock, we will adjust your invoice and the total cost accordingly before processing the payment through MasterCard or Visa. We may not always contact you about out-of-stock items and will proceed to ship the items that are available. If you prefer to be contacted before your order ships in such cases, please indicate this in the comments box of your order.

 

Back Orders

Please note that we do not maintain back orders for any products. In cases where items are out of stock, we might not reach out to inform you. Any unshipped items will be listed on your packing list, and you will not be charged for these. If you still need these items, you will have to reorder them. You're welcome to call us in advance to check their availability. We typically ship only the items that are in stock, and we may not always contact you about items that are out of stock. If you prefer to be notified before your order is shipped, please mention this in the comments box when placing your order.

 

Order Cancellation Policy

As soon as you click 'Place Your Order' on the Confirm and Submit Page, we begin processing your order. There is a possibility to cancel your order while it's still in the processing stage. However, once it has entered the shipping stage, cancellation is no longer possible. If you need to cancel an order, please contact Customer Service at 647-297-7032 promptly to check if cancellation is feasible.

 

Warranty

We make no representations or warranties, either express or implied, regarding the operation of the website or the information, content, materials, or products included on it, to the fullest extent permissible by law. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The owners of this website shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this website. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

 

Liability

In the event of any breach of these terms and conditions, Muse's maximum liability shall be limited to the total price of the products ordered by the customer. Muse will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, special damages, or economic loss arising from any claim or action related to the purchase of products, whether the claim is based in contract, statute, tort, implied duties or obligations, or any other legal theory.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada, applicable without regard to conflict of law principles. Under these terms, both the customer and Muse are bound by these legal frameworks.

  1. Agree that any legal proceedings arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or transactions under them shall be brought exclusively in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto.
  2. Consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of this court for any such proceedings.
  3. Waive any objection to the venue of any such proceedings in these courts.
  4. Renounce any right to argue the inconvenience of the forum as a defense in any such proceedings.
